Air drilling is a technique that uses compressed air instead of water and mud circulation to cool drill bits, remove drill cuttings, and protect well wall. Inexhaustible air and easy preparation of gas-liquid mixture greatly facilitates the use of drilling rigs in dry, cold places and effectively reduces water costs.
