SMW(Soil Mixing Wall) continuous wall was introduced in Japan in 1976. SMW construction method is to drill to a certain depth in the field with a multi-axis drilling mixer. At the same time, cement strengthening agent is sprayed at the drill bit and mixed with the foundation soil repeatedly. Overlapping and lapped construction is adopted between each construction unit. It forms a continuous and complete, jointless underground wall with certain strength and stiffness.

TRD construction method: Trench cutting Re-mixing Deep wall method (Trench cutting re-mixing Deep wall method) The machine uses a cutting box with a chain drive cutter head and a grouting pipe inserted into the ground to carry out deep cutting and transverse cutting, and carries out an up and down motion cycle to fully stir, while injecting cement coagulant. After curing, a uniform cement-soil continuous wall is formed. If the core material such as H-shaped steel is inserted in the process, the continuous wall can become a new water stop and anti-seepage support structure construction technology used in the soil retaining and anti-seepage wall or the load-bearing wall in the excavation project.
