SINOVO TH-60 Delivers Versatile Piling Solutions, Backed by Real-World Performance in the Maldives

When foundation contractors talk about what makes a piling rig worth owning, the conversation usually comes down to a few things: Can it handle the ground conditions? Will it stay productive shift after shift? And when something goes wrong, can you get parts and support without jumping through hoops?

The SINOVO TH-60 hydraulic piling rig was designed with those questions in mind. It has also been put to the test in one of the more demanding environments a foundation machine can facethe coral-reef geology and salt-laden air of the Maldives, where SINOVO has deployed the TH-60 on multiple marine infrastructure and resort development projects.

I. Precision Adaptation: SINOVO TH60′s Technical Advantages Seamlessly Integrate with Island Working Conditions

The SINOVO TH60 Hydraulic Piling Rig achieves a maximum pile driving length of 16 meters and accommodates pile sections up to 400×400 mm, meeting the driving requirements of various precast piles commonly used on islands. In drilling mode, the machine offers a maximum drilling depth of 20 meters with a 400 mm drilling diameter, while the maximum drilling torque reaches 60 kN·m and the drilling speed is infinitely adjustable from 6 to 23 rpm, enabling efficient penetration in complex strata including coral-reef geology, loose sand layers, and clay formations. The maximum pull-down force of 170 kN, combined with main and auxiliary winch pull forces (first layer) of 170 kN and 110 kN respectively, ensures stable and reliable pile driving and rod extraction. The chassis length of 4,940 mm and track shoe width of 800 mm provide excellent stability while enabling agile maneuvering and precise positioning within confined island construction sites.

II. Field Validation: Reliable Performance in Maldives Marine Projects

In the Maldives marine project, the SINOVO TH60 has demonstrated exceptional adaptability and operational stability in the face of multiple challenges, including high salt-spray corrosion, insufficient soft ground bearing capacity, and confined construction sites. Local contractors have reported that the TH60′s hydraulic system delivers rapid response and high control precision, enabling efficient hole formation and pile driving in both coral-reef geology and loose sand layers, with equipment availability and operational efficiency meeting project expectations.

The successful implementation of this project not only validates the reliability of the SINOVO TH60 in extreme marine environments but also provides a solid technical endorsement and engineering to further expand into marine engineering markets in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

III. Market Significance: From Supplier to Trusted Marine Partner

The Maldives project has given the SINOVO TH60 its toughest real-world credentialand it passed with consistency. For contractors navigating the complexities of marine infrastructure, this is not a promise; it is a proof point. SINOVO has arrived, not as a newcomer, but as a solution that works where it matters most: on the water, on time, on spec.
