After a month of meticulous cleaning and renovation, the newly revitalized Electric Crawler CFA Machine has successfully passed factory acceptance at the manufacturing facility. It has now been officially loaded onto a truck and is set to depart for Nigeria in Africa to contribute to key local construction projects.
This time the drilled rig is delivered with a green paint making it more eye-catching, symbolizing both environmental friendship and strong visual recognition. During its overhaul, the technical group completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected the machineries, the attention were focused in modernizing the central control module: the frequency converter and its electrical control unit, the hydraulic controlling system is also changed to a new generation, this greatly improves the rig’s operation response speed and stability.
After completion, the rig can be drilled to a maximum depth of 32 meters with a bore hole diameter of 600 millimeters, which fully satisfies the requirements of medium-deep pile foundation construction. As an Electric Crawler CFA rig,n this machinery has many merits, including flexible movement, low power consumption and well-formed hole, which results in it being extensively applicable in the foundation construction of residential buildings, bridges, ports and other projects. Its recent shipment to Nigeria marks further international recognition of the company’s comprehensive lifecycle management capabilities encompassing manufacturing, service, and remanufacturing.
According to the project lead, to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment in Africa’s hot and dusty environment, the maintenance team specifically enhanced the protection rating and heat dissipation design of the electrical system, and reinforced the crawler drive mechanism. Before delivery, the equipment ran for 48 hours under full load in a continuous trial run, and all performance readings were within or above those of the original factory.
At present, the rig has been sent to port and is scheduled to reach the construction site in Nigeria by the middle of the next month to begin work on local water projects. The company has also dispatched technical service personnel to provide guidance during installation and commissioning, ensuring the equipment is “ready for immediate use upon delivery and delivers high efficiency upon deployment.”
The successful export of this green-coated CFA Machine not only demonstrates the new heights achieved in China’s remanufacturing and upgrading capabilities for pile driving equipment, but also injects another solid force of “China-manufactured” solutions into Sino-African infrastructure cooperation.
