1. The impactor does not make a sound

There are four common types:

(1) Valve plate shattered;

(2) The tail of the drill bit is damaged, and the debris enters the cylinder and gets stuck in the hammer body;

(3) The exhaust hole is blocked by rock powder;

(4) When drilling downwards, there is a lot of water accumulation in the hole, and the exhaust resistance is high, making it difficult for the impactor to start.

Anti processing method:

When the impactor is found to be unresponsive, first lift the impactor to reduce exhaust resistance, blow out a portion of the water, and then slowly push it towards the bottom of the hole. If this method does not work, remove the impactor from the hole for cleaning or replacement of parts.

2. Stuck drill

In addition to encountering complex geological formations that can cause the machine to get stuck during normal drilling, there are also the following reasons:

(1) Broken wing of drill bit;

(2) The newly replaced drill bit has a larger diameter than the original one;

(3) The displacement of the machine during rock drilling causes the drilling tool to deflect in the hole;

(4) During rock drilling, rocks may fall off the wall or hole opening, or encounter large cracks or caves;

(5) Encountering a broken zone of yellow mud mixed with gravel, rock powder cannot be discharged;

(6) Operational error: When drilling was stopped for a long time, the rock powder was not blown clean, and the drilling tool was not lifted, causing the impactor to be buried by the rock powder.

District processing method:

Based on the current strength of the drill bit, wing breakage has been basically eliminated. In case of special circumstances, a seamless steel pipe with a diameter similar to the hole diameter can be used, filled with butter or asphalt, connected to the drill rod and sent to the bottom of the hole to remove the broken wing at the bottom of the hole. Before salvaging, the rock powder at the bottom of the hole should be blown clean. When encountering the last five types of stuck drilling situations, the most serious ones are that the drilling tool cannot be lifted or lowered, the rotary machine does not rotate, and the impactor does not make a sound. At this time, only external torque or auxiliary tools can be used to help lift the drill rod and rotate it. Then, the drilling tool should be lifted while giving air until the fault is resolved. When re drilling, the pressure should be applied slightly first, and gradually increased to the normal working pressure.
